Local Music: New Song about Harry Spitz

Local Music: New Song about Harry Spitz

More than six months ago, Kromatic Media brought you a one-episode podcast on the grave explosion of 3-year-old Harry Spitz in Morgantown’s Oak Grove Cemetery.

Now, more than six months later, we premiere the first folk song ever written about the incident by local musician Chris Haddox. Enjoy!

Mission San Xavier del Bac

Mission San Xavier del Bac

The Mission San Xavier del Bac sits in the desert outside of Tucson, on the Tohono O'odham Nation San Xavier Indian Reservation. It was constructed in the late 18th century (1783-1979) after its previous incarnation was destroyed in an Apache raid. It is an absolutely beautiful example of Spanish architecture in the American southwest. Franciscan friars still live at the mission, and it is still a pilgrimage site for the faithful. Highly recommended visit.

Harrison Farm

Harrison Farm

Stopped by Harrison Farm outside of Columbus recently, where “goat yoga” is a thing. Spent some time wandering and exploring with a friend, snapping a few photos in the meantime.
