A Maryland judge just granted Kromatic Media key 911 audio in its new murder/suicide investigation.
The audio was originally denied by the Garrett County Attorney, who claimed that providing the audio violated the state's Wiretap Act. The win means that we will be able to examine and share the audio, but also affirmatively secures 911 audio for journalists throughout the state.
